Standing with toes on the back of the board and heels off, grip Stix at position 2 and place Stix on shoulders. Knees should be bent into a squat position.
Leaning forward into the Stix, extend body straight (body should be leaning forward at a 45° angle). Center Right foot on the back of the board, lift left foot off board. Allow heel to relax back off of the board then press upward.
Squat down to a 90°, bend in each knee. Grab Stix and stand upright. Maintain tall posture, shoulders slightly retracted throughout. Weight should be on the heel of the left leg, driving heel down into the board with each rep. (Repeat on opposite leg)(Progression: use different Stix in each hand for asymmetric loading.)
